This tool only works on single-vision glasses. That means you’re good to go if you’re nearsighted, farsighted, or wear readers. It even works on lenses that correct for astigmatism.

It does not work on multifocal lenses, such as bifocals or progressives.

Specifically, the lens scanner can read prescriptions in this range: between -6.00 and +3.00, with a cylinder up to -2.50.

No, this tool pulls the optical parameters from an existing pair of glasses. It cannot provide a brand new prescription or replace an eye exam.
